Challenge
Every two years SRH — a leading provider of education and healthcare services with 15,000 employees across private universities, schools and hospitals — runs a company-wide employee survey and presents the results and resulting projects at „.impuls vor Ort“ events at 7 of its 73 locations, including a new „Questions to the Board“ format. But not every employee could attend in person, and SRH wanted its entire workforce to be able to participate — with maximum transparency and a real sense of community.
Approach
The Live plugin for the Staffbase employee app — already used by 5,800 SRH employees — was the perfect fit. It let SRH stream all events live so the entire workforce across Germany could take part. During the streams, employees could submit questions to the Board in real time, which were continuously updated and answered during the events. MMS provided professional advice from the outset and supported both planning and the on-site technical setup, converting the camera feed and sending it live into the employee app.
Result
SRH streamed a total of 7 internal events live in the employee app, reaching employees across Germany. While around 100–200 people attended each event on site, the streams were opened roughly 300 times in the app. After each broadcast, the stream was turned into an on-demand video that remains available to all employees to this day — so the events can be watched anytime, anywhere.
