Quiz Plugin 3.4 – Greater flexibility, fairer leaderboards and better tests
New
In version 3.4, quiz questions can, for the first time, contain multiple correct answers. This gives editors significantly more options for creating complex knowledge-based questions and realistic scenarios. Participants can see straight away when more than one answer needs to be selected. Full marks are only awarded if all the correct answers have been selected.
Improved
The test mode has been revised so that answers are now saved in exactly the same way as in live mode. This allows quizzes to be tested and validated more reliably before publication.
In addition, the calculation of the leaderboard has been optimised. Where participants have the same score, the time taken to complete the quiz now determines their ranking. This ensures a transparent and fairer ranking of participants.
Fixed
Various optimisations improve consistency between test and live modes, as well as the calculation of rankings in the event of a tie. This makes test runs more reliable and the determination of placings more transparent and unambiguous.
