Ideation Plugin 4.6 – Enhanced Collaboration, Better Insights and Improved Performance

Version 4.6 introduces @mentions in idea descriptions and comments. Users can now directly involve colleagues in discussions and draw attention to relevant ideas. On supported platforms, mentioned users receive a notification with a direct link to the related idea or comment.

In addition, the CSV export has been extended with optional profile fields. Administrators can now decide which organizational information, such as department, location, or business unit, should be included in exports. This enables more detailed analysis and reporting while maintaining full control over privacy requirements.

The performance of the idea detail page has been optimized, especially for ideas with extensive discussions. Comments and replies are now loaded incrementally instead of being retrieved all at once when opening an idea. This results in faster loading times and a more responsive user experience, even for ideas with a large number of comments.

An issue in the idea export functionality has been resolved. Content from custom configured form fields is now exported completely, ensuring that all relevant information is available for further reporting, analysis, and data processing.
